Peres K-8 is a public school at West Contra Costa Unified School District.

Our school is a Tittle 1 school serving 100% of students with free and reduced lunch.  Our school demographics are composed of 78% Latino, 12% African American, 2% Asian and 6% mix.  We serve students from preschool to 8th grade with an additional 4 special education classes.  

Peres K-8 upholds the principals of Efficacy.  "Think you can, work hard and get smart."  We believe that every child will be academically proficient and will build a strong character with great effort.  Next school year, we are projected to have 654 students.
